Corey is in the Army now

Sorry I haven't written in a while. It has been very busy.

Corey's 30th birthday was Sept 22, 2005 and on that day he jointed the Army with a five year active duty commitment. He is now in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. The troops call it "lost in the woods". The first week when I was in was called zero week when they gave you all your shots, batteries of written tests, and issued you a big duffel of uniforms etc. Then they sent you to your basic training for 8 weeks. He should finish basic in early December. His advanced training starts in January (53 weeks of language training). We will see. They had Arabic, Iranian, Chinese, or Korean openings. He didn't know which one he would get. We can all guess.

He said he would write and I will try to post what ever I get. I think I have seen one letter from Corey in his life so don't plan on a blow by blow on Army basic. I could do that but it would be forty years out of date. Maybe I if I get bored.....
